Emily Elizabeth Wollenweber, daughter of Thomas and Laura Wollenweber, of Hampstead, and Michael Keith Sumner, son of Keith and Joyce Sumner, of Hampstead, were married at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hydes on Oct. 4, 2014.
The Rev. William Franken performed the ceremony. Frederic Rey was the soloist. Douglas Byerly was the pianist.
Matron of honor was Julie Wilson, of Las Vegas, Nev., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Dana Znamirowski, of Baltimore, sister of the bride; Jaclyn Pessagno, of Mechanicsville, sister of the groom; Jaime Miller, of Ocean City; Julia Barraclough, of Richmond Va.; and Allie Ives, of Westminster.
Best man was Josh McQuaid, of Westminster. Groomsmen were Chip Weaver, of Hampstead; Derek Pessagno, of Mechanicsville, brother-in-law of the groom; Luke Little, of Hanover, Pa.; Christian Adami, of Hughesville; and Daniel Keller, of Lusby. The ring bearer was Trent Wilson, of Las Vegas, nephew of the bride.
The reception was held at The Hunt Valley Golf Club in Phoenix.
After a honeymoon to Negril, Jamaica, the newlyweds are residing in Westminster.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of North Carroll High School, a 2009 graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in health science, and a 2011 graduate of Arcadia University with a Master of Science in physician assistant studies. She is employed at Patient First.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of North Carroll High School and 2013 graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor of Arts in accounting. He is employed in the finance department at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore.
