Allison Virginia Sachs, daughter of John and Peggy Sachs, of Westminster, and Daniel Patrick Smith, son of Timothy and Sara Smith, of Centreville, Virginia, were married at Saint John's Catholic Church in Westminster on April 11, 2014.

The Rev. Paul Cooke performed the ceremony. The prelude horn choir was performed by Timothy Smith, Sara Smith, Kevin Engdahl, and Andrew Lutter, with musical accompaniment by Joan MacDonald and Kim Dvorak.

Maid of honor was Kelsey Coffin, of Annandale, Virginia. Bridesmaids were Samantha Long, of Luray, Virginia, Randyl Sachs, of Towson, sister-in-law of the bride; Nicole Dowling, of Ellicott City, cousin of the bride; and Julie, Theresa, and Emma Sachs, all of Severn, cousins of the bride.

Best man was Drew Galaska, of Falls Church, Virginia. Groomsmen were Christopher Smith, of Richmond, Virginia, brother of the groom; Samuel Smith, of Centreville, Virginia, brother of the groom; Christopher Sachs, of Towson, brother of the bride; and Andrew Lutter and Kevin Engdahl, of Falls Church.

The reception was held at Morningside Inn in Frederick.

The newlyweds are residing in Frederick.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Westminster High School, a 2011 graduate of James Madison University, and a 2013 graduate of Hofstra University, with a masters degree in speech pathology. She is employed with Montgomery County Schools.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Centreville High School and a 2011 graduate of James Madison University with a degree in music education. He is employed with Fairfax County Schools.
