Lydia Smith and Michael Aspatore

Lydia Smith, of Wingate, Indiana, and Michael Aspatore, of Greencastle, Indiana, are engaged to be married.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Brian and Rhonda Smith, of Wingate, Indiana. She is a 2012 graduate of North Montgomery High School, and will graduate in May from Purdue University with a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is employed at Kroger Pharmacy in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

The groom-to-be is the son of John and Jil Aspatore, of Westminster. He is a 2010 graduate of Westminster High School, and graduated in 2014 from Purdue University with a degree in electrical engineering. He is employed at International Automotive Components in Greencastle.

An Aug. 11 wedding is planned.
