Grace Lutheran Church will host "Quiet Evenings: Sanctuary, Reflection, Spiritual Practice" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3.

"You are invited to join our quiet, praying community as we give ourselves permission to let go of our responsibilities for a few hours, step outside the busyness of life and be present with The Holy in the moment, and listen and respond authentically to God's calling on this spiritual journey," according to Sharon Glass, coordinator of the Quiet Evening programs.
