Cedarhurst Unitarian Universalists, St. Paul's United Church of Christ and Carroll County PFLAG will sponsor the first Transgender Day of Remembrance held in Carroll County at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at St. Paul's UCC, 17 Bond St., Westminster.
There will be a brief service of music and readings, followed by a candle lighting to memorialize the passing of transgender and gender non-conforming individuals who have been murdered because of prejudice and hatred.
Refreshments will be served.
