Sir Nathandrew Versus the Pumpkin: 7 p.m. For all ages. The Robo-Lions designed and built Nathandrew for a robot game called FIRST Stronghold, which required teams to overcome obstacles such as a moat, and launch foam rubber boulders at a tower defended by opposing teams. Knighted for his heroic efforts, the robot now known as Sir Nathandrew of Sykesville will be up against similar obstacles, and instead of launching boulders at the defenses, pumpkins will be involved. This event will include other STEM activities and is one of many Maryland STEM Festival events across the state.

Mommy and Me Laughter Yoga: 2 p.m. For ages 3-12. In this unique class we will open up a space where we can laugh, be silly, and release the splendor of our inner child with our children who are already masters of laughing for no reason. We will tap into this infinite well of happiness, love, and laughter through a brief introduction, warm ups, laughter games, and relaxation. These classes will be kept laid back, appropriate, and engaging for all ages. Older children (like dads) are also warmly welcomed. Prerequisites: Some experience with laughter and a sense of humor preferred, ho-ho-ho. All attendees need to register.
