Gentle Yoga: 7 p.m. For ages 13-adults. This gentle yoga class is designed to allow students of varying abilities and physical conditions to comfortably develop his or her own yoga practice. There are many appealing aspects to yoga, including increased flexibility, relaxation, strength, improved balance, as well as stress relief and pain relief. No experience necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a mat, and a blanket. All attendees need to register.

This session is held at Fairhaven Assisted Living Center in Sykesville. The elderly residents will join us for the program and visiting afterward. Only kids need to register.

The Pirates of Pan's Pants: 2 p.m. For ages 2-adults. Pirates have stolen Peter Pan's pants and disappeared into a surprisingly cordial swamp. But fear not, me hearties, for he eventually gets them back, but not before a little singing and a lot of silliness. Join the APL Drama Club for this half hour show, suitable for ages 2 to 102, although it is recommended that adults be accompanied by a child at all times. All attendees need to register.

Russia: Friend or Foe? Lecture Series: 1917-1926: Russian Revolution to Stalin's Takeover: 1 p.m. For ages 10-adults. Join guest lecturer Gary Kavanagh as he examines the history of modern Russia starting with the 1917 Communist Revolution through the current government under Vladimir Putin. With current media spotlight on the relationship between the U.S. and Russia, this lecture series will provide some historical insight into Russia's current government, economy, and foreign policy.
