Gentle Yoga: 7 p.m. For ages 13-adults. This gentle yoga class is designed to allow students of varying abilities and physical conditions to comfortably develop his or her own yoga practice. There are many appealing aspects to yoga, including increased flexibility, relaxation, strength, improved balance, as well as stress relief and pain relief. No experience necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a mat, and a blanket. All attendees need to register.

Free Hearing Screening: 9 a.m. For ages 3-adults. Drop by the Eldersburg Branch for a free hearing screening for adults and children, at least 3 years of age, offered in partnership with the Lions Club Healthy Hearing and Balance. No appointments are needed

Tinker Tots: 10 a.m. For ages 2-5. A little push, a twist, a turn. Keep those little fingers busy and experimenting in our library Tinkertown. Exploring Homelessness in Carroll County: A Town Hall Forum: 6:30 p.m. For ages 10-adults. Join us for a short film exploring the lives of several Carroll County residents as they share their stories of homelessness. Hear our neighbors talk about their own journey, their struggles to get back on their feet, and their hopes for the future. A time of discussion and reflection will follow the film as we share ideas about our community response to homelessness. This event is sponsored by the Circle of Caring Homelessness Board, a voluntary collaborative committee of more than 50 government, non-profit, business, and faith-based groups with an interest in ending homelessness in Carroll County.

It will focus on discussion and healing, using counseling, music, writing, and other interaction. Remember: you are not alone. This group is hosted by Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care.

Septic Care: Important Information for Homeowners: 7 p.m. For adults. George Schooley, certified septic system installer, inspector, and founder of Legacy Septic & Excavation, will share how to maintain your septic system to keep it working properly, helping you protect your home and family. Questions regarding BAT systems, sand mounds, and other new technology will also be addressed. Schooley will provide a brief presentation on the care of septic systems, followed by an interactive Q&A session.
