The Rev. Steven Badorf is the new pastor at Kirkridge Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Manchester.
Badorf began serving as pastor early in September, but was not officially installed until Nov. 2.
After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kutztown University in 1986, Badorf worked in advertising for several years as an art director before transitioning to full-time Christian ministry and becoming an InterVarsity Christian Fellowship staffworker.
After serving three years with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and three years with a smaller campus ministry, DiscipleMakers, Badorf attended Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. Following his graduation in 2001, he was called to serve as an ordained campus minister for Reformed University Fellowship by the Chesapeake Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America at Towson University.
Reformed University Fellowship is the official campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America. After serving as a campus minister at Towson University for six years, Badorf pioneered and established an RUF at Johns Hopkins University and served there for another six years.
