American Kennel Club Agility Trials
The Oriole Dog Training Club will host American Kennel Club Agility Trials at the Shipley Arena, Carroll County Agriculture Center from Dec. 4 through the 6. The event will feature all levels of ability, and all All-American and mixed breed dogs. During the event, each dog will be tested on its agility by undergoing a series of tests including jumping through hoops, running up angled surfaces and navigating obstacles. Slots for the competition are full, but the public is invited to watch the dogs compete for free.

Hashawha Holiday Hunt
Those searching for some holiday spirit can attend the Hashawha Holiday Hunt, Sunday at the Bear Branch Nature Center. During the event children between the ages of 5 and 10, will search the woods for materials to come back and create their own holiday decorations. The center will have hot cocoa and holiday treats to snack on while the children craft.
