"A Midsummer Night's Dream"

The National Players, founded in 1949, is currently the longest running touring theater company in the nation. The group will take their latest production of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" to the Carroll Arts Center for a single performance Sunday afternoon. The performance will be co-directed by Jason Loewith and Jason King Jones.

Duende concert

Classical guitar and saxophone duo, Duende, will perform a concert of world music Thursday at Carroll Community College. The duo, featuring guitarist Krystin O'Mara and saxophonist Ethan Miller blends traditional classical music with world influences and original contemporary pieces. During the college concert, they will perform original transcriptions from pieces around the world, including works by Villa-Lobos, PIazzolla and more.

"Got Ghosts?"


The Westminster branch of the Carroll County Public Library will host professional paranormal investigators the Maryland Society of Ghost Hunters for a discussion of spooks, specters and ghosts. They discuss their work with paranormal investigation, show off their ghost-hunting equipment and show images of their work.
