As the winter weather gets colder, Carroll venues are doing their best to plan events to lure families out their warm homes and away from binge watching Netflix. This week features concerts from bluesman Guy Davis and folk trio Harpeth Rising, as well as an honoring of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in advance of the holiday.

At the concert, Davis will perform music from his most recent album, Juba Dance, which was nominated for the 2014 Blues Music Association Acoustic Album of the year, and remained at number one on the blues sales charts for more than a month.
