Theresa Michelle McCourt, daughter of Patrick and Shari McCourt, of Finksburg, and Benjamin George Amoss, son of William and Mary Amoss, of Fallston, were married at Westminster United Methodist Church in Westminster on April 26, 2014.
The Rev. Shari McCourt, of Westminster UMC, performed the ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
After a honeymoon to Italy, the newlyweds are residing in Westminster.
The bride is a graduate of Westminster High School and received a bachelor's degree in English from McDaniel College. She is a watershed grants analyst for the Carroll County government.
The groom is a graduate of Fallston High School, received a Bachelor's degree in biological systems engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and is completing a Masters in biotechnology at University of Maryland, University College. He is a systems engineer for Eli Lilly and Company.
