Sunday school students and members of Messiah Lutheran Church, in Berrett, participated in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America community service program called "God's Work, Our Hands."

On Sept. 6, members of Messiah cleaned the Human Services Programs of Carroll County women's shelter in Westminster and on Sept. 7, Sunday school students packed 60 school kits using supplies donated by the students and church members. The kits will be sent to the Lutheran World Relief Center to be distributed to students overseas.
