Katie Elizabeth Rhinehart, daughter of Thomas and Joyce Rhinehart, of Monrovia, and Cory Joseph Hemler, son of Joseph and Lisa Hemler, of Taneytown, were married at Montgomery United Methodist Church on Dec. 27, 2014.
Dr. Wade Martin, Monsignor Martin Feild, and the Rev. Sharon Wright performed the ceremony.
Dawn, Michaela and Maria Reardon, of Mount Airy were the soloists. Char Anderson was the organist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Amanda Rhinehart, of Ijamsville, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaids were Christina Moats, of Union Bridge; Brittany Ahalt, of Taneytown, sister of the groom; Rebekah Mitchell, of Wooster, Ohio; and Laura Palmer, of New Market. The flower girl was Peighton Rhinehart, niece of the bride.
Best man was Jason Krug, of Taneytown. Groomsmen were Chris Littrell, of Taneytown; Christian Ahalt, of Taneytown, brother-in-law of groom; TJ Rhinehart, of Ijamsville, brother of bride; and Dave Rettberg, of Eldersburg.
The reception was held at Walkersville Social Hall.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Montrose Christian School in Rockville, a 2009 graduate of Towson University with a degree in healthcare management, and a 2012 graduate of University of Phoenix with a master's degree in health care administration. She is employed with HeartFields Assisted Living and Memory Care at Frederick as the director of marketing.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School in Union Bridge, a 2005 graduate of Carroll County Career and Technology Center for HVAC, in Westminster, and he obtained his journeyman license in 2009; and plans to obtain his master's in HVAC. He is employed by JEM Heating and Air Conditioning of Westminster.
