Volunteers who documented 100 or more volunteer hours with Carroll Lutheran Village last year were honored at a luncheon on May 25. In 2016, 11 students, 160 adults from the off-campus community and 231 residents documented nearly 25,000 of volunteer service to the Village.
A total of 73 volunteers gave 100 or more hours and were eligible for the President's Volunteer Service Award, created in 2003 by President George W. Bush to recognize the valuable contribution that volunteers make.
