Grace Bible Church Christmas Craft Show, Dec. 1

The second Grace Bible Church Christmas Craft Show will be on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Forty vendors will offer clothing, jewelry, woodwork, specialty coffee, fresh greens, home decor, kitchen items and more. Food and a bake sale table will be available on site. Drawings will be held for gift certificates. Vendor fees from the event will all go to the Grace Bible Church Preschool and Kindergarten. Deer Park UMC bazaar set for Dec. 1

Deer Park United Methodist Church, 2205 Sykesville Road/Md. 32 at intersection with Deer Park Road., Westminster, in the Smallwood area, will host its annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. in conjunction with a Pancake Breakfast and Soup & Sandwich Lunch. St. John Christmas Baazar set for Dec. 1

St. John will host its 65th Christmas Bazaar, on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come see St. Nick, pick up holiday favorites, see the Festival of Wreaths Auction. This year there will be an anniversary auction, with many prizes from local businesses. The 50/50 Raffle will have a top prize up to $10,000. Community Christmas Candelight service set for Dec. 2

A Community Christmas Candlelight Worship Service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 4 p.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church. The church is located at 3100 Shiloh Road in Hampstead.

Emmanuel UCC to open Advent season, Dec. 2

Emmanuel (Baust) United Church of Christ will begin the Advent season by lighting the first Advent candle, the candle of hope, and partaking of communion this Sunday, Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. The second candle, the candle of love, will be lit Dec. 9.

The ladies of Baust Church will happily do your Christmas Cookie baking for you with a choice of 13 different kinds of cookies and 1 kind of fudge. Cookies are $5 a dozen and fudge is $6 per pound. Linwood Brethren presents ‘Love Transcending,’ Dec. 2

St. Peter’s holding Christmas bluegrass jam, Dec. 9

St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Hampstead will hold its second annual Christmas & Gospel Music bluegrass jam/singalong on Sunday, Dec. 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. It will feature an open mic — singers and bluegrass players are welcome. Those interested are urged to come and enjoy an inspirational and fun afternoon, including children's activities and refreshments. It is a free, handicapped accessible event.

Calvary UMC offers Longest Night Service, Dec. 16

Because the holidays can be difficult for many, Calvary United Methodist Church’s Stephen Ministry is holding a Longest Nigh Service that could be helpful to those having trouble dealing with the holidays, with life in general, or with loneliness in a place where they say you can feel God's love and the love of others who are in similar situations.
