Emmanuel UCC to hold Sunrise Service
Emmanuel (Baust) United Church of Christ will begin Easter morning with a Community Sunrise Service at 6 a.m. April 21 at the top of the cemetery hill. Limited parking is available in the cemetery. A light continental breakfast will follow the service in the Parish Hall.

Westminster UMC celebrating Easter Sunday
Westminster United Methodist Church, located on the corner of Main and Center streets in Westminster, invites everyone to their Easter Sunday services. They will celebrate Our Risen Lord with services at 8:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m., and 11 a.m. Perfume-free sanctuary. Education Hour, 9:45 a.m., includes Easter Sunday classes for 5th grade and younger (they return to all-ages Sunday School, next week). Nursery service available during worship. Ebenezer UMC to hold Sunrise service
Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Winfield will begin Easter Sunday with a Sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. at the Krimgold Park pavilion on Woodbine Road. The church youth will lead the service. Coffee and doughnuts will be served afterward. Traditional Easter worship to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ will be held at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the sanctuary. ‘SonRise’ celebration at Deer Park UMC

Calvary Lutheran offers Easter Sunday worship
Calvary Lutheran Church in Mount Airy will be celebrating Easter Sunday starting at 9 a.m. with a contemporary joyful worship celebration of Christ’s Resurrection. Then, at 11 a.m., they will host a traditional joyful worship celebration of Christ’s resurrection. Calvary Lutheran Church is located on Old Frederick Road, at the Woodbine exit off I-70. Mount Zion men’s breakfast set for April 27
The annual Finksburg Community Mount Zion Men’s Fellowship Breakfast will be held on Saturday morning, April 27. The men of the community are invited. The time is 8 to 10 a.m. Guest speaker will be Delmas “Woody” Wood, program director of Community Conferencing of Carroll County, which is a restorative justice initiative offering alternative dispute resolution.

Worship and prayer event set for April 27
Everyone in the community is invited to a one-day worship and prayer event for Carroll County on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Reese Volunteer Fire Department carnival grounds.
Speakers will include: Mark Sparks, Alex Young, and Patrick Boyd with worship by Jeremy Willet, Josiah Nusbaum and Troy Carver. There is no cost. Food trucks will be on hand for cash meals. For more information visit: www.onecarroll.com.
Ascension to host Special Needs egg hunt, April 20
Church of the Ascension, located at 23 N. Court Street in Westminster, will host its annual Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m. The hunt is open to all individuals with disabilities.
