A golf tournament to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the American Cancer Society will be held Sept. 16 at Oakmont Green Golf Course in Hampstead. The event is being hosted by Greenmount Station in Hampstead and is in its 23rd year.

For those interested in playing in the tournament, registration is due by Sept. 12 and the cost to play is $90 per golfer.

Registration the day of the event is from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., with lunch served from noon to 1 p.m., and welcome and rules being announced at 12:45 p.m. A shotgun start will be held at 1 p.m. for this Captain’s Choice tournament.
