“Uniquely Gifted”

Off Track Art is hosting an exhibit of arts and gifts featuring work by 28 local artists starting Thursday, Dec. 7 and running through Christmas Eve. The event will feature work including jewelry, woven ware, framed artwork, prints, pottery, tableware, wooden items, sculpture, clothing and more.

When: Noon to 5 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. Noon to 4 p.m. Sundays Dec. 7 through Dec. 24.

A Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas

Each year, the Carroll Arts Center welcomes in the holiday season with a screening of the Christmas classic “A Charlie Brown Christmas” complete with live score by the Eric Byrd Trio. Vince Guaraldi’s music for the special was controversial at first for its embrace of jazz stylings but has grown into both a Christmas and Peanuts staple.
