Darien Batzer, daughter of Gabrielle Batzer and Wayne Batzer, of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Aaron Barnard-Luce, son of Randall Luce and Elaine Barnard-Luce, of Montgomery Village, were married in Honolulu, on April 4, 2015.

The Rev. Giovan King performed the double-ring garden ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Bridesmaids were Alana Salguero, Jessica Previch, Lily Bliznashka and Natalie Chang. The flower girl was Sofia Dale, of Long Beach, Calif., cousin of the groom.

Groomsmen were Aziz Barnard Luce, brother of the groom; and Jonathan Abbassi, Andrew Hyunh and Zach Faden. The ring bearer was Jacob Dale, of Long Beach, cousin of the groom.

The reception was held at the Hale Koa Hotel in Honolulu.

After a honeymoon to the Brazilian island of Fernando de Noronha, the newlyweds are residing in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The bride is a graduate of Georgetown University and is a foreign service officer at the U.S. Consulate in Sao Paulo.

The groom is a graduate of American University and is also a foreign service officer at the U.S. Consulate in Sao Paulo.
