Taylorsville United Methodist Church will celebrate a Blessing of the Animals at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, rain or shine.
People are invited to bring their pets, on a leash, and meet outside in the parking lot at 4356 Ridge Road, south of Taylorsville.
The Christian tradition of the Blessing of the Animals is a witness to God's and the church's love, care and concern for all of creation.
