Justin Rose, a 2016 graduate of Manchester Valley High School, is one of 15 students from across the nation to receive a scholarship from the Universal Forest Products Education Foundation. The foundation awarded Rose with the scholarship in recognition of his academic and extracurricular achievements during high school and during his first year at college. He will receive $1,000 toward his college education, renewable for up to three years. While attending Manchester Valley High School, Rose was a member of the National Honor Society and was captain of the varsity tennis team. He currently attends York College of Pennsylvania.
Since its inception in 1994, the UFP Education Foundation has awarded scholarships to more than 275 children of employees of Universal Forest Products. Rose's father, Tony Rose, is employed by UFP New Windsor LLC, a Universal affiliate.
