The first Project e-Reboot Competition was held Sept. 15 at the e-End facility in Frederick. The event, hosted by e-End and MAGIC, was set in a post-apocalyptic world, and challenged teams of high school students to create a functioning computer from recycled components. MAGIC (the Mid-Atlantic Gigabit Innovation Collaboratory) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Westminster; and e-End is an NAID AAA Certified provider of secure destruction of hard drives, electronic storage devices and all non-paper media.
