Zach Kunze, a fourth-grade student at Eldersburg Elementary School, was the Carroll County representative at the Maryland Day Celebration at Historic St. Mary's City on March 23.
Zach participated in the flag ceremony, which is an integral part of the Maryland Day program. The ceremony featured a student representative from each county and Baltimore city, who is selected to present their county flag before a podium of dignitaries.
