Amanda Smith, of Taneytown, was named to the honors list for the fall 2018 semester at Maryville University, St. Louis, Missouri. Part-time, undergraduate students are eligible for the academic honors list when carrying a minimum of six credit hours and maintaining a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and no single grade below a B-.

Daniel Mraz, of Sykesville, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2018 semester at Champlain College, Burlington, Vermont. Mraz is majoring in business management. Dean's list students have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the semester.
Aaron Nelson, of Hampstead, a Delaware Valley University student, participated in LeaderShape Institute over winter break. LeaderShape and DelVal partnered to host a session of the Institute in January 2019 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. LeaderShape Institute is recognized nationally as one of the premier leadership development programs for college students.
Katelyn Schaeffer, of Westminster, achieved dean's list status for the fall 2018 semester at Daemen College, Amherst, New York. A matriculated undergraduate student who attains a grade point average of 3.30 or better in any one semester is eligible for dean's list.

Nina Mitzelfelt, of Westminster, has been named to the dean's list at West Virginia University for the fall 2018 semester. Mitzelfelt, a 2017 Winters Mill High School graduate, is a sophomore majoring in dental hygiene.
William H. Lee, of Mount Airy, is among the 1,067 cadets recognized for their outstanding work during the fall 2018 semester at The Citadel, Charleston, South Carolina. Dean's list is a recognition given to cadets and students who are registered for 12 or more semester hours and whose grade point average is 3.20 or higher, with no grade of Incomplete and no grade below C for work in a semester. Lee also received a gold star, which are awarded to cadets and students who achieved a 3.7 grade point average or higher.
