Morgan Blanchette, of Westminster, has been named to the fall 2018 dean's list at Kutztown University, in Pennsylvania. To be eligible, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

The following students were named to the dean's list for the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania : Megan Callan, of Eldersburg, business administration information technology management major; Anna Teitt, of Finksburg, ASL/English interpreting major; Ethan Barlow, of Mount Airy, computer science major; Adam Hurry, of Mount Airy, digital forensics major; Richard Saveleski, of Manchester, digital forensics major; Stephen White, of Sykesville, computer science, digital forensics major. To qualify for the list, students must earn a quality point average of 3.5 or higher (based on 4.0) during the semester.

The following local students were named to the dean's list for the fall 2018 semester at Slippery Rock University, in Pennsylvania: Jordan Grey, from New Windsor; Roslyn Heald, from Mount Airy; Daniel Janyska, from Sykesville; Jordan Mann, from Westminster; Scott Murri, from Sykesville; Alisha Pelkey, from Woodbine; Samantha Ricketts, from Marriottsville. The dean's list consists of SRU undergraduate students who earned an adjusted semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, based on a schedule of at least 12 newly attempted and earned credits.

Sarah Walton, of Finksburg, has been named to the fall 2018 dean's list at Lake Erie College, Painesville, Ohio. Any degree-seeking student who has earned at least nine semester hours of credits at the college during a single academic term and achieved a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher in a given semester is recognized as a dean's list student for that semester.

Leah Wolf, of Sykesville, was named to the fall 2018 dean's list at the University of Rhode Island. To be included, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average; part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average.

The following students were among those named to the fall semester dean's list at Shepherd University, Shepherdstown, West Virginia: Zane T. Lewis, Finksburg; Allison Grubb, Hampstead; Autumn G. Feeser, Taneytown; Paul W. Hann, Taneytown; Jessica L. Perez, Union Bridge; Lyric A. Conaway, Westminster; Joshua Hooper, Westminster; Amanda M. Rau, Westminster; Rachel A. Sweeney, Westminster. To be eligible, a student must maintain a 3.4 grade point average for the semester and carry at least 15 hours of coursework or be in a professional teaching block.

Kenneth Hlavacek, of Eldersburg, received a Master of Engineering, information assurance, from Iowa State University , Ames, Iowa. The university held fall commencement ceremonies Dec. 14-15.

The following local students were named to the fall 2018 dean's list at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, a special mission affiliate of The Pennsylvania State University : Kyle J. Garrett, of Westminster, Bachelor of Science, manufacturing engineering technology; Kody Garvick, of Westminster, Associate of Applied Science, welding technology; Michael R. Naugler, of Sykesville, Bachelor of Science, engineering design technology; Jared R. Ward, of Manchester, Bachelor of Science, manufacturing engineering technology. Dean's list includes all full-time students who have a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better. Part-time, degree-seeking students who have earned 12 credits and have a graduation grade-point average of 3.5 will receive initial dean's list recognition; thereafter, upon completion of each additional 12 credits, a student will be eligible for dean's list if the minimum GPA has been maintained.

Nicholas Alexander Roche, of Westminster, was among the fall 2018 graduates of Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, a special mission affiliate of The Pennsylvania State University. Roche received an Associate of Applied Science, automotive technology. Penn College held a commencement ceremony Dec. 22.

Alexandra Ingle, of Westminster, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2018 semester at the College of Coastal Georgia, Brunswick, Georgia. Dean's list students achieved a GPA of between 3.5 to 3.99 while enrolled as full-time students in the given term.

Antonius De Lange V, of Finksburg, earned a 3.5 GPA to be named to the dean's list for the fall 2018 semester at Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
