Carroll superintendent Lockard, school board president Sivigny to host town hall at FSK High

The president of Carroll County’s Board of Education, Donna Sivigny, and Superintendent Steve Lockard will be hosting a town hall style meeting next week.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, at Francis Scott Key High School at 3825 Bark Hill Road near Union Bridge.

The purpose of the meeting is to create an open dialogue with parents and the community, according to a Carroll County Public Schools news release. Members of the community are invited to attend and address their concerns or ask questions regarding education topics and issues.

The meeting is intended to be an open forum; however, depending on the number of participants the time for each speaker may be limited.

The final town hall meeting for the school year will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, at Century High School in Eldersburg.
