McDaniel College mascot 'mistaken' for Pokemon character

The Pokemon Go craze hasn't been all fun and games – just ask McDaniel College's mascot, the Green Terror.

McDaniel officials released a video this week depicting how the Green Terror, a large green monster with a face that can inspire nightmares, has been mistaken for a Pokemon character. The mascot has been under attack by students wielding Pokeballs.
It’s not known if any students have been able to catch the Green Terror.
The Westminster school’s mascot made a New York Daily News list of eight of the “weirdest” school mascots in the country. The Green Terror name reportedly dates back at least to the early 1920s.
