Taneytown Mayor James McCarron, running unopposed Monday, received 573 votes out of 714 cast to secure another four-year term, and council candidates Bradley Wantz and Donald Frazier led a field of five to secure two seats on the town board. They received 377 and 303 votes, respectively.
