Learning about heart health at Runnymede Elementary
Patricia Tarlow, a retired health teacher who spent 15 years at Robert Moton Elementary, organized a heart health assembly at Runnymede Elementary School to promote healthy eating and exercise habits in children, on Friday, October 4.

- Like many other businesses, Days End Farm Horse Rescue, a Woodbine nonprofit that works to rescue and rehabilitate neglected and abused horses, is finding their way as they continue their important work through the pandemic. While closed to the public, the volunteer-driven organization works closely with animal protection authorities in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas and continues to care for and find homes for dozens of horses.
