What are the three main issues you wish to address during your campaign and how do you plan to address them?
Issue 1: Job Creation. Maryland ranks 40th in overall business climate among the 50 states. I am an entrepreneur. I have founded three successful businesses. My first priority in this area will be to guide the region's implementation BRAC strategy around Fort Meade, US Cyber Command, DISA, and NSA.
Issue 2: Education. I have two children entering the school system and I intend to make sure that all of our children have the tools they need to be successful. My education priority will be to establish universal voluntary pre-K in Maryland, giving our children the head start they need.
Issue 3: Women's rights. I have two girls; I believe they deserve to make decisions about their own bodies. I will oppose any efforts to limit women's access to contraception or other family planning services and will work hard to improve our laws in the area of domestic violence and human trafficking.
