What are the three main issues you wish to address during your campaign and how do you plan to address them?
Issue 1: Sane Leadership focus on Carroll County. Avoid frivolous lawsuits, not hiring friends to fill jobs who don't have our county's best interest at heart. Bring back respect to our County employees for the great job they do.
Issue 2: Reverse the damage done the last four years. Support Carroll County Public Schools. Support Senior Citizens to help age in place. Support Economic Development in our Small towns only where desired. Represent all Citizens not just those that agree with me.
Issue 3: Funding Carroll Public, Public safety, Emergency services and public works. Maintenance of effort is insufficient support for our schools. $800,000 to community foundation, lost revenue from not using Motel/Hotel tax, cutting inspection fees and cutting the impact fee. These things need to be looked at. But most of all working with the other commissioners to help move our county forward.
