Harbaugh signs extension

DENVER - Seven months after leading the Ravens to a win in Super Bowl XLVII, Baltimore coach John Harbaugh has reportedly been rewarded with a multi-year contract extension.
Harbaugh's previous contract was set to expire after the 2014 season.
Pro Football Talk reported that Harbaugh's extension will keep him under contract through 2016 and will pay him nearly $7 million per season over the next four years, making him one of the highest paid coaches in the NFL.
Harbaugh took over as the Ravens' head coach in 2008. Baltimore is 63-30 under his direction, including 9-4 in the playoffs.
The Ravens have advanced to the AFC championship or further during three of its five seasons under Harbaugh, and Harbaugh is the only coach in NFL history to win at least one playoff game during each of his first five seasons.
