Bobby Glenn Burleson, 64, of Glen Rock, Pa., died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at York Hospital.
Born Aug. 30, 1949, in Spruce Pine, N.C., he was the son of the late Will and Zula Burleson.
He was a graduate of North Carroll High School and served in the Army in Vietnam. He had been an owner/operator of Carroll County Tree Service prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, trap shooting and spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.
Surviving are daughter Brandy Irwin and husband Mike, of Centreville; grandsons Asa, Josiah and David "Buckshot" Irwin, all of Centreville; sister Donna Wilhelm and husband Gary, of Manchester; a nephew, Casey Wilhelm; and a niece, Katy Shaffer.
He was predeceased by a son, Bobby Glenn Burleson Jr.; and siblings Willie Mae Thomas, Ralph Burleson and Robert Burleson.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lineboro Cemetery.
