A Taneytown woman has been charged by the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania for allegedly embezzling approximately $118,000 from her employer in Adams County, Pa.
Amy R. Eyler, 48, was employed as an assistant branch manager at a PNC Bank in Adams County.
From 2007 to 2011, Elyer embezzled more than $100,000 from customer Certificate of Deposit accounts, according to United States Attorney Peter J. Smith.
Eyler's case was investigated by the FBI.
If convicted, Eyler could face up to 30 years in jail, and a fine up to $1 million.
