On May 29, Franklin High School seniors Jacqueline Rivera and Julianna Johnston won awards for their artwork at the 28th Annual High School Art Exhibit held at Goucher College in Towson. Rivera earned AFSL Honorable Mention and Johnston was awarded both the Laubheimer First Place Award and AFSL Honorable Mention.
Twenty-five Baltimore County Public School students earned honors for their artwork at the ceremony. The winning students were presented their awards by BCPL Superintendent S. Dallas Dance, the BCPS Office of Visual Arts on behalf of the late former BCPS coordinator of art James Laubheimer, and law firm Azrael, Franz, Schwab & Lipowitz, LLC (AFSL).
