Ravens TE Ed Dickson making progress in recovery from injured hamstring

OWINGS MILLS - Whether Ravens tight end Ed Dickson is able to play in Baltimore's regular season opener against the Denver Broncos remains to be seen, but Baltimore coach John Harbaugh said that the last week or so has been encouraging as far as Dickson and his injured hamstring.
Dickson practiced Monday for the first time since partially tearing his hamstring Aug. 4, and he went through a second consecutive day of practice Tuesday.
Dickson participated on only a limited basis both days, but Harbaugh said that it's been "very encouraging" just to get Dickson back on the practice field.
"[His hamstring] has really taken a turn for the better the last five days," Harbaugh said. "He's worked really, extremely hard, so we're happy to see that. ... We'll have to see to where it goes in the next week or so and see where we're at."
