Teenage pedestrian struck, sustained non-life threatening injuries

A 14-year-old female pedestrian was transported via ambulance to Johns Hopkins Hospital after she was struck early afternoon Monday while attempting to cross Md. 140, according to Sgt. Scott Peter, of the Westminster City Police.
She was not crossing at a crosswalk when she walked from north to south on Md. 140 near Malcolm Drive in Westminster, Peter said.
The pedestrian was struck by an eastbound 2005 Dodge driven by Dolores Cisco, of Westminster. The teenager was at fault, according to Peter.
The teenager was transported to the hospital with a broken leg and road abrasions. The injuries are non-life threatening, Peter said.
