Ravens: McClain accepts pay cut

Ravens linebacker Jameel McClain accepted a $1.5 million pay cut from the Ravens, according to NFL Players Association financial records.
McClain signed a three-year, $10.5 million contract with Baltimore last March.
He signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2008 and has been a starter for Baltimore each of the last three years, but his availability for this season is in doubt because of the spinal cord contusion he suffered in December. The pay cut lowers McClain's base salary from $3 million to $1.5 million.
and reduces his cap figure from $4.2 million to $2.7 million.
The Ravens are now reportedly $5.5 million under the salary cap.
