Former Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich will be signing copies of his new book at the grand opening of Larry Hogan's campaign headquarters later this month.
Hogan, who served as appointments secretary in Ehrlich's administration, will hold the event Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. His new headquarters will be located at 2365 Riva Road, Suite 100.
In a campaign email on Wednesday, Ehrlich was advertised as a special guest at the event. The email said the former governor will be offering autographed and personalized copies of his latest book, "America: Hope for Change."
In the book, released in November, Ehrlich takes aim at what he calls a "venomous progressivism" commanding national politics, according to excerpts released to The Capital prior to its release.
Tickets to the event are $100, with VIP passes going for $250, the email said.
Hogan made his campaign for the GOP primary in Maryland's race for governor official on Monday, announcing he will use public financing after filing his candidacy at the state's election board.
Last week, the Edgewater resident kicked off his campaign with a rally at Mike's Crabhouse. There, he announced Boyd Rutherford as his running mate.
Hogan, the founder of Change Maryland and a real estate broker, is competing for the GOP nomination with Harford County Executive David Craig, Del. Ron George, R-Arnold, Charles County businessman Charles Lollar and Brian Vaeth.
