Joe Flacco had possibly his worst performance of the season. He had some success late after the Ravens already trailed by four touchdowns, but started 10-of-24 for 97 yards with no touchdowns and two turnovers, including a momentum shifting interception late in the first half that Broncos defensive back Chris Harris returned 98 yards for a touchdown.
RUNNING BACK: C
Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce didn't have much in terms of running lanes and combined for just 58 yards on 17 carries.
WIDE RECEIVERS/TIGHT ENDS: D-plus
Dennis Pitta had two late scoring catches, but, other than those two touchdowns, the trio of Pitta, Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith combined for just 47 yards on six catches. Smith had only one catch for 14 yards prior to leaving with a concussion during the second half and Boldin finished without a catch.
OFFENSIVE LINE: D
The offensive line struggled to open holes against the Broncos' front seven and had trouble neutralizing a potent Denver pass rush. The Broncos had just one sack prior to the Ravens' last drive, but finished with nine quarterback hits and had Flacco under pressure most of the afternoon. Rookie right tackle Kelechi Osemele struggled in pass protection and left guard Jah Reid continues to be unimpressive at left guard.
DEFENSIVE LINE: C
Terrence Cody continues to be a detriment at nose tackle and Denver did a good job making Haloti Ngata into a non-factor. Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno had 118 yards on 22 carries.
It's hard to be too critical of this group since it was without its top three inside linebackers, but Josh Bynes and Brendon Ayanbadejo both struggled, both against the run as well as in coverage. Terrell Suggs was clearly playing at nowhere near 100 percent, fighting through the torn right biceps he suffered two weeks ago.
Cary Williams had a tough day against Eric Decker, as did Jimmy Smith when he was in. Ed Reed had a tough day as well. Decker had eight catches for 133 yards and a touchdown.
SPECIAL TEAMS: A
Justin Tucker made both of his field goal attempts, Jacoby Jones continues to make plays as a returner and Albert McClellan had two forced fumbles on the kick coverage teams.
