Anthony studies at Ranger School

Cathleen Anthony, daughter of Richard and Claudia Anthony, of New Windsor, is attending the SUNY ESF Ranger School in Wanakena, N.Y., where she is studying in the environmental and natural resources conservation program.

SUNY ESF stands for State University of New York Environmental Science and Forestry.

The Ranger School offers the associate's degree programs of the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Syracuse.

The Ranger School has a one-plus-one design whereby a student attends any accredited college the first year, taking 30 credits of required coursework, and then transfers to the Ranger School for the second year.

Upon completion of her coursework, Anthony will earn an Associate in Applied Science degree in environmental and natural resources conservation.

The Ranger School also offers programs in land surveying technology and forest technology.
