Baltimore County police in the Franklin precinct recently recorded the following reported incidents, among others, in the Owings Mills and greater Reisterstown communities. Anyone with information regarding these incidents may call the Franklin precinct at 410-887-6975.


Feb. 9. someone placed a rag in the gas tank of a 2011 Chevy Equinox in the unit block of Woodthorne Court in Owings Mills.

They lit the rag on fire, and the Equinox was destroyed.


Home Occupied

Police said someone broke into their mother's vacant townhouse in the 12300 block of Boncrest Drive in Reisterstown.

The mother returned to the location and found him living there.

Gun Stolen

Someone entered a home in the unit block of Pine Spring Lane in Owings Mills Feb. 7, police said.

They stole jewelry, a jewelry box, a gun safe and a gun. They entered through the back deck. There was no forced entry.


Sunglasses and Shoes Stolen

Police said someone entered a home in the 800 block of Suburban Road in Reisterstown through an unlocked basement window.

They stole Aviator and Under Armour glasses, and Nike and Ken Griffey Jr. shoes.

Light Bulb Broken

Feb. 5, police said someone entered a building in the 200 block of Rosewood Lane in Owings Mills.

They broke a large glass light bulb and left the location.

Video Games Stolen

Police said someone entered a home in the unit block of Sierra Circle in Owings Mill through a rear sliding door Feb. 6.

They stole Armani glasses, a PlayStation 3 and video games and a Bluetooth earpiece.


Someone entered a home in the 10900 block of Huntcliff Drive in Owings Mills Feb. 6, police said.

They stole shoes, headphones and a Nintendo DS.

Gun and Handbag stolen

Police said two men entered a building in the 4700 block of Avatar Lane in Owings Mills wearing black masks Jan. 31. One carried a silver handgun.

They stole a pistol, necklace, jewelry, bracelet, watches, and a leather handbag.

Home Bleached

Feb. 3 a woman bleached her husband's furniture, television and clothing in the 11000 block of Mill Center Drive in Owings Mills.

She took a watch, wedding ring, silver necklace and cologne bottles.
