Ravens' Dumervil unlikely to play Sunday vs. Vikings

OWINGS MILLS - Ravens outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil missed a third straight day of practice Friday and is unlikely to play Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
Dumervil sprained his ankle last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Coach John Harbaugh said Friday that Dumervil would likely be a game-time decision and that Dumervil isn't a player that needs to practice to play, but Dumervil was listed as doubtful on Friday's injury report.
Courtney Upshaw and Pernell McPhee would see bigger workloads if Dumervil doesn't play.
Reserve safety Brynden Trawick (ankle) also missed a third straight day of practice Friday and will not play Sunday, but defensive end Chris Canty (shoulder), cornerback Lardarius Webb (abs) and wide receiver Brandon Stokley (knee) all practiced for the third consecutive day.
All three are questionable. So is cornerback Asa Jackson (thigh), who practiced on a limited basis Friday after missing practice Thursday.
Cornerback Jimmy Smith (concussion) was a full participant in practice Thursday and Friday and is listed as probable.
For Minnesota, running back Adrian Peterson (groin) returned to practice Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. He's listed as questionable.
Quarterback Christian Ponder (concussion), tight end Kyle Rudolph (foot) and cornerback Josh Robinson (chest) were ruled out for the Vikings.
Matt Cassel will likely start at quarterback with Ponder out.
