The Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown
is having its Annual Pancake Breakfast Saturday, Oct. 6 from 7 a.m. -12 p.m. at the Reisterstown United Methodist Church, 246 Main Street in Reisterstown. There will be pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, orange juice, etc. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 children 6-12 years old and free for children under 5.

The Weight Loss Challenge,
7-8 p.m., Butler Fire Hall, 15019 Falls Road, Butler, offers a weight-loss program for long-term weight loss, including information on nutrition and exercise. Participants receive a Wellness Evaluation, learn how to shop, get tips on portion control, dining out and exercise. The 12-week course is $50. The top three losers, based on percentage of body weight lost, share the "pot." The program benefits the fire company, with $10 from each registration donated to Butler Volunteer Fire Co.
