Stevenson welcomes filmmaker Cornejo as new artist-in-residence

Stevenson University will hold a welcoming reception for Cristina Kotz Cornejo, its Fall 2013 artist-in-residence for the Department of Film/Video, at 6 p.m. Thursday. Cornejo is an Argentine-American independent filmmaker known for both feature-length and short films. She is also an associate professor in the Department of Visual and Media Arts at Emerson College in Boston.

A screening of Cornejo's film, "3 Americas," will follow the reception at 7 p.m. at the School of Design Sound Stage, Owings Mills North Campus, 11200 Gundry Lane, Owings Mills. The event is free and open to the public.
