Fairview United Methodist Church is hosting a presentation for Black History Month at 9 a.m. Sunday.
George Murphy, lay leader of Bethesda United Methodist Church and expert on local Civil War history, will be speaking about six men of color who became Maryland heroes during the Civil War and were awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for their service.
