Francis Joseph Greeley, Sr., 82, of Reisterstown

Francis Joseph Greeley, Sr., 82 years old of Reisterstown, died Jan. 21, 2013 at the Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown. Born July 18, 1930 in Maryland he was the son of the late Francisco Grillo and Katherine M. Johnson Grillo. He was the husband of Constance Marie Myerly Greeley, his wife for 59 years.

He had been the Director of Blood Service for the American Red Cross. He worked for the Baltimore Orioles as part of the security staff. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and belonged to the Knights of Columbus.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Donna Scram of Reisterstown, John and Francis Greeley, Jr. both of Baltimore, Joseph Greeley of Towson, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his son Anthony Greeley.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Jan. 23rd from 3-5 p.m. at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.

Herman Karly Hack III, 84 of Finksburg

Herman Karl "Hank" Hack III, 84, of Finksburg, died Jan. 8, 2013, at home.

Born March 6, 1928, in Bronx, N.Y., he was the son of the late Herman Karl and Ottilie Jost Hack. He was the husband of Ruth Anna Gover Hack and the late Joan Naughton Hack.

He was a chemist with a printing company. He was a member of the Warrington Pa. Lions Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his favorite dog "Chip", bowling, doing crossword puzzles, travel and taking walks with his friends. Mr. Hack was in the U.S. Navy from 1946 - 1948

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters and sons-in-law Debra J. and Jim Sneary, of Tunnel Hill, Ga., and Nancy D. and David Roe, of Shalfont, Pa.; step-children Sheila and husband Chris Overholtzer, Bernie and wife Jean McVicker, Roland and wife Charlene McVicker, Brenda and husband Buddy Covey, and Terri and husband Len Kramer; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Hack; and a step-daughter, Sharon Stonesifer.

Julia Jean King, 56, of Finksburg

Julia Jean King, formerly Julia Jean Steele, 56, of Finksburg, passed away on Jan. 14, 2013 after a long battle with ovarian cancer at the Dove House in Westminster. She was born on March 15, 1956 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. to the late Stanley-Louis and Isabele Bryan Hack. She was married to Jerry E. King.

Julie was raised in Ft. Lauderdale where she became a Registered Nurse. She moved to Tallahassee, Fla. where she raised her children. Then she met the love of her life, Jerry, and moved to Maryland to be with him. In Maryland she worked at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. She was an author, the past president of the Maryland Chapter of the Intravenous Nurses Society and avid pet lover, in particular her cat Tigger. She was loved unconditionally by her family and friends and she returned that unconditional love to all she knew.

She is survived by in addition to her husband by son and daughter Robert Steele and Andrea Taylor and her husband Adam and stepson Justin King. Sister of Bryan Hack and Lorraine Willard. Sister in law of Peggy Ayers, Kathy King and husband Guy Bailey and Glenn King and wife Sharon. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Lillian Ethel Klein, 92, of Baltimore

Lillian Ethel Klein, 92, of Baltimore, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at Northwest Hospital Center. Born Jan. 6, 1921 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Irving Thomas and Mary Ethel Basil. She was the wife of George N. Klein, who died in 1984.

Surviving are daughters Sally Steelman and her husband Rich, of Westminster; Stephanie Muszelik and her husband George, of Reisterstown; grandchildren Nick Selby, Abby Flater, Katie Hughes, Matt and Melanie Muszelik; great grandchild Ryan Hughes, son in law Gary Flater and sister in law Jane Basil.

She was predeceased by daughter, Susan Flater and brother, Irving Basil, Jr.

She was a lifelong member of Milford Mill United Methodist Church. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling, reading, and musical theater. She was a Ravens and Orioles fan. Her passion was her family.

Evelyn N. Orr, 90, of Reisterstown

Evelyn N. Orr, 90, of Reisterstown died Jan. 19, 2013 at the Dove House in Westminster. Born September 30, 1922 in Reisterstown, she was the daughter of the late Walter R. Naylor, Sr. and Mattie Mae (Brothers) Naylor.

Mrs. Orr was an office manager for an insurance company. She was past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 116 and Life Member of the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Mrs. Orr was a 1939 graduate of Franklin High School. She enjoyed Bingo and Crosswords. She also enjoyed her family.

Surviving is her brother, Walter R. Naylor, Jr and his wife Erna of Hampstead, sister Florence Robinson and her husband Carroll of Mt Airy. Grandchildren, Angela M. Dixon whom she raised, and her husband Clifford, Heather Orr and Christina Rucker. Also survived by six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews

She was predeceased by her son Clifford L. Orr, Jr. and her daughter Phyllis J. List.

The family will receive friends on Jan. 23 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown where a funeral service will be held Jan. 24 at 10 a.m.

Jeffrey Wayne Polly, 46, of Coatesville

Jeffrey Wayne Polly, 46 years old of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013. Born Sept. 5, 1966 in Maryland he was the son of Clarence T. Polly and D. Carol Zimmerman Albin.

He was a graduate of Franklin High School class of 1984. He served honorably with the U.S. Army and worked at the Coatsville V.A. Medical Center.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his children: Amanda Fishel, Brandon Polly, Alaina and Alyssa Polly, his siblings Dawn Johnston , Craig and James Polly.

A memorial service will be held Jan. 31, 11:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 Main Street, Reisterstown.

Mildred Thelma Stonnell of Owings Mills died Jan. 15, 2013.

She was the daughter of the late Walter I. and Elva V. (nee Childs) Stonnell. Sister of the late Walter I. Stonnell, Jr. and survived by sister Janet and her husband Jay Sweitzer.

Joseph James Tunney, 54, of Reisterstown

Joseph James Tunney, 54, of Reisterstown, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, in Reisterstown.

Born May 25, 1958, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late William Edward Tunney III and the late Jeanette Madeline Santhin Tunney.

He was a self employed contractor.

Surviving are daughters and son-in-law Kathleen M. and Scott Aderhold, and Lisa M. Tunney; a grandson, Samuel Bruce Aderhold; former wife Theresa M. Tunney; and many family and friends.

Helen G. Warner, 99, of Reisterstown

Helen G. Warner, 99, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 at Country Acres Assisted Living, Westminster.

Born October 26, 1913 on the family farm in Reisterstown, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Warner and Darcie Benson Warner.

As a member of an extended family, she was active all her life in community and church activities. She graduated from Franklin High School in Reisterstown in 1931. Miss Warner worked in Quality Control at Bendix Corp. for many years.

A life member of Reisterstown United Methodist Church, she served on numerous committees, including the Willing Workers. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her companions and care givers at Country Acres Assisted Living.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.
