OWINGS MILLS -- Quarterback Joe Flacco is attending the Baltimore Ravens' first day of the voluntary conditioning program.
Flacco remains in contract discussions with the Ravens, but isn't close to a deal. He's under contract through this season.
The Ravens have a tight salary-cap situation at $1.878 million under the limit.
Meanwhile, Pro Bowl running back and franchise player Ray Rice isn't attending the workouts.
Like Flacco, Rice isn't close to a contract. He has yet to sign his $7.742 million franchise tender.
"To all college athletes getting ready to enter the NFL just remember the business side of the league is rough #fact," Rice wrote on his Twitter account.
Among the players attending the workouts, according to the team: newly-minted $50 million cornerback Lardarius Webb, wide receiver Torrey Smith, linebacker Albert McClellan, linebacker Sergio Kindle and wide receiver Tandon Doss.
The following players signed their exclusive-rights tenders: Kinde, long snapper Morgan Cox, cornerback Danny Gorrer, linebacker Josh Kindle and offensive lineman Justin Boren.
